What is Love It or List It?
If you have tuned in to HGTV on a Monday evening, you will have heard of the hit television series Love It or List it.
Hosted by interior designer, Hilary Farr, and real estate agent, David Visentin, the pair help homeowners make the difficult decision of either renovating or selling their homes.
Having 18 seasons of the show, we have seen all sorts of renovations by Hilary, whilst also seeing some great home choices from David which are a much better fit for the homeowners.
Where is Love It or List It filmed?
Whilst both Hilary and David both live in Canada, you may be surprised to hear that the show has recently not been filmed there.
When Love It or List It began back in 2008, they started their renovations and listings in Toronto and surrounding areas in Ontario and continued this for six years.
However, in 2014, they decided to switch it up and began filming in the United States, in North Carolina.
To appear on the show, HGTV’s casting call asks for applicants to either live in Raleigh-Durham or within a 45-minute drive of the Triangle in North Carolina.
