EP Review: Chase Atlantic - 'Part Three'

Australian three-piece Chase Atlantic have released another EP, giving us the perfect songs to jam out to this summer. The trio continues to release music that combines many musical genres such as pop, R&B, trap and hip-hop to create a unique sound unlike anyone else in the industry.

Chase Atlantic is made up of brothers Mitchel and Clinton Cave, along with their longtime friend Christian Anthony. If you haven’t heard of this dynamic band yet, now is the time for you to check them out!

Part Three is the band’s third EP to be released this year under Warner Bros. Records and MDDN. In our opinion, Part Three is a game-changer in Chase Atlantic’s career.

Every song on the 4-track EP has its own unique sound, yet it somehow flows perfectly from one track to the next.

One standout track on Part Three is “No Friends” featuring American rappers iLoveMakonnen and K Camp. “No Friends” has a catchy beat that can’t be strictly boxed into one genre. In addition, the raps are a great touch that make this track perfect for radio.

“Keep It Up” is a song that you’ll love if you’re a fan of pop music. The track has a strong drum and saxophone throughout, and a fun vibe that’s perfect to blast with the windows down. This is one song that we hope to hear live whenever the band goes on tour!

“23” and “Drugs & Money” are soothing to listen to, both of which having a slower pace, yet still keeping us hanging onto their every word.

After months of teasing the new EP, we are so glad that Part Three is out for the world to hear. Overall, we’re obsessed with their sound and can’t wait to hear more from these guys!
